The Event In December / January since a few years the event “China Lights” take place at the Cologne Zoo. Its a lightening event. In the late afternoon and evening you can admire several light sculptures and scenes. On 11th of January 2024 I met with Karin Modis for a photo session. All Weather Cologne / Alle Wetter Köln The Project Time: Between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve I decided to start some photo sessions in the middle of cologne. Conditions: The weather at this time was rainy and windy with rare dry moments and often with low light. Main Artworks in the Cathedral With the following photo I will show you the reason of the Dome erection starting in 1248. Here you will have a look at the Holy Shrine: In the newer days the well known artist Gerhard Richter designed the south window of the Dome.
