The English Part of France The French landscape known as Aquitaine was my voyage target this time. Did you know that this part of France was under English rule from 1154 – 1453. All Weather Cologne / Alle Wetter Köln The Project Time: Between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve I decided to start some photo sessions in the middle of cologne. Conditions: The weather at this time was rainy and windy with rare dry moments and often with low light. The Cologne Dome

Main Artworks in the Cathedral With the following photo I will show you the reason of the Dome erection starting in 1248. Here you will have a look at the Holy Shrine: In the newer days the well known artist Gerhard Richter designed the south window of the Dome. The south side was former the main entrance from the monastery. Today the entrance is closed. The window itself is very colorful.
